This weekend I popped home to see my mum for Mothering Sunday. Mothering Sunday brought with it a visit to church, where I spotted the sunlight glancing off the bevelled edge of this headstone. This photo was actually taken on a beautiful, sunny day. I used a red filter to darken the blue sky and bring out the clouds.
I was digging through some old photos and I came across this one that I took in July 2008. I think this cloud looks a lot like Great Britain!

This was taken during a thunderstorm when the sky turned dark quickly. The photo hasn’t captured as much of the atmosphere as I would have liked, but never mind!
