Old roof tiles
If you have read the caption for the photo “Terracotta quilt“, you’ll notice I said almost all the rooves were re-tiled. This is one of the few that evaded damage in the conflict and was not replaced.

All the tiled rooves in Dubrovnik are bright and orange, partly because the city was shelled in the Siege of Dubrovnik in 1991/2, causing extensive damage to the buildings. The Sea Cloud
The Sea Cloud is a sailing cruise ship – most unusual. Pictured here docked in Venice, the passengers we spoke to from this ship told us their next port of call was in Croatia.
Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore
This is the “car park” for the Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore, which sits proudly in the harbour of Venice. There doesn’t appear to be much on the islet except for a church.
Leaving Venice
As we sailed out of Venice, these small boats didn’t seem to care that a 70,000 ton ship was heading straight for them!
Legend of the Seas
This is the bow of the ship we cruised on, the Legend of the Seas.

Sorry, I can’t remember which church this is. I was more taken with the fact that the moon was clearly visible in the sky.
