I’ve probably said before that fog is my favourite weather. It is, however, very hard to capture well on camera. Here I’ve increased the contrast and lowered the brightness by large amounts.

Icy grass
I walked on Dartmoor on New Year’s Eve and it was particularly cold. I was fascinated by how the ice had built up on these blades of grass. The ice was surprisingly strong, too.

The other day when I came home from work, I looked up the stairs and the view reminded me of an Escher painting. Today I took this photo. It didn’t come out quite as I had imagined, but I like it anyway.
Fireworks
The fireworks in the background went off by chance during this 2.5-second exposure of a sparkler in my hand!
